Terrible experience...... The chunked a black daughter and her mother out of the cinema because they both paid for the same ticket with a white fam and the white fam took their seats ....... And they stopped the movie for about 15 minutes and then when they restarted the movie they made us repeat 30minutes of the parts we had already watched..... Really disappointing........
Quite a few theatres, some with rather large screens. Reasonably clean. Absurdly expensive snacks.
Great place to watch a movie.... especially if you want to watch 3D movies-theatres are always clean, but the service is realy bad. You have to cue at least half an hour before the movie starts if you want some snacks or you will the opening scenes.
Too few tellers open right before movie start. Facilities are great though.
This the nation's best movie theater. I couldn't ask for more. Pricing is reasonable, snacks are endless and you get to see up and coming films first hand.
Reason for downgrade of rating:
- Pop-corn is served out of brown paper bags for several months now. In a crowded cinema this is noisy.
- Pop-corn taste old and has a lot of whole corn pieces in it.
- Softdrinks are flat most of the time
- Cinemas have a toilet smell
- Toilets (men) is dirty and broken
- Projector screens are dirty (e.g. cinema 2)
- Picture quality (especially 3D) is not always good
- Sound is hopelessly too loud
- Overall pricing (e.g. ticket, food options and quality, beverage, etc.) is too expensive for what a person gets
It was good in the beginning but now the wheels are coming off. What a shame.
Friendly and very relaxing. Little to noisy. Very clean
The best place to watch movie in Namibia
Great cinema, can get full a bit on peak releases but it's worth it .
Great place. Easy to move around.
Had a great experience till they switch off the AC 15min after the movie started. horrible...its 40 degrees and we have to enjoy the film? Will not suggest this cinema to anyone
Comfortable theatre with limited selection at concession stand so bring your favourite snacks since they probably won't have it bring. The staff and supervisor are not well trained or knowledgeable to deal with theatre issues.
