Sense of eternity felt as you come close to untouched infinitely variable nature. Intense and eerie black mountains

Staff very friendly and helpful. Park entry very pretty with plants and stones from the park. Pierre the technical manager assisted greatly in obtaining spares for our broken down car. Really extremely helpful.and caring!!!

Incredible place! Great all- and only 4x4 roads. The barron landscape have a sense of ultimate peacefulness to it; so relaxing. Just know its a desert, and alwys keep your cozzie with you! Camp sites and chalets are of of top quality and well kept. Worth the 1000km drive.

One of the most beautiful tourists spots in southern Namibia. It Is well worth the long drive on the gravel roads from Keetmanshoop. Try and get to the view points as early as possible in the morning, as it can get very hot during the day. Best time to visit is after the high season when there are not so many tourists around, and you can take your time to take in the views and enjoy the silence.

It's not worth the drive. The hot spring is nothing to write home about, in fact it's the least interesting thing there. The place has 2 swimming pools and a nice bar & restaurant area, but you can get this in many closer or more interesting places.

The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a petrol station and tyre repair facility.

I would not recommend making a special trip here, rather a pass by on the way elsewhere.

Nice place to go swimming in the hot springs. But gets to 40°c in the day.

Needs some TLC in some places, but overall a beautifull area to explore with unique scenery only to be found there.
Camp is on the river with lovely scenes of the canyon side.
Inside pool is very cosy and user friendly. Huge outside pool if you prefer cooler water.

If I could give it zero stars I would. This place is run down, dirty and nothing works. Showers are broken, the ceilings are filled with mold, the lights don't work. The shop is very expensive and the staff absolutely useless. Was a nightmare to get my booking finalized and I started the booking process more than 10 months in advance. Besides all this it turned out to be our most expensive accommodation on our Namibia trip and we were only camping. Don't go to Ai-Ais, rather go to Canyonroadhouse.

The second largest canyon in the world does not disappoint. The NWR campsite is very basic and is cash only, and you should bring in enough supplies to last the duration of your time there. It's proximity and quick access to the canyon make it worth the stop. You'll run into overland truck groups while you're here, but we selected a site on the far side of the campsite and weren't bothered. Beautiful place.
