It's right next to the Atlantic Ocean which is brilliant. The geographical location is simply phenomenal as you call feel the cold ocean Benguela Current.

Nothing fancy about the room at all. There is a fridge in the cupboard under the TV with two bottles of water. There is a small balcony overlooking the lagoon so able to watch people jogging past the room. Unfortunately the in room electronic safe in my room it's battery was flat, and my colleague room it was locked closed, so we couldn't lock up our valuables.
Breakfast was good, however having stayed at Protea hotel in ZA previously found it strange they didn't offer coffee at table but expected to help yourself. Tried to get a smile from the restaurant staff however was sadly not successful.

Really nice hotel. The staff is friendly and bedrooms clean. Internet could be better but good enough for basic navigation.

Very clean rooms, friendly service. Veriaty breakfast and the dinner menu to suit most tastes. Beautiful views of the bay.

Great place. Rooms give you a nice view over the lagoon and they have good food, good service, and generally friendly staff. The staff in the lounge, however, could be a little more welcoming and more vigilant.

Typical 4 star Protea hotel. This one is very close to the beach and restaurants on the marina. If you choose the right room, you will have a porch facing the sea.

Had our wedding here ! We had the best food and services. Was a great venue for our wedding. The rooms are nice and clean , spacious and have a nice view overlooking the lagoon in Walvisbay. The Hotel is save and walking distance to the waterfront.

Great Place to calm down for a few days, while you are travelling trough Namibia. I enjoyed the Spa. The rooms are cute and clean. The food was not so much my thing. Well, the bathrooms could be a bit bigger. But all in one i give 4 stars!
