Beautiful place but totally overprized and overrated. No basic facilities in rooms e.g. kettle, fridge, welcome message, etc. TV is not working. Group who wanted yo watch the rugby and have a few drinks. Can't use fan although it was 34 degrees cause it trip the genator power. Consider it to be daylight robbery. Won't recommend to anyone. Only positive was the friendly restaurant personnel.

The Camp is good and of course one of the best Locations on the eastern part of te Etoasha Park, if there was nothing stolen i would rate this as 3.5. The food was ok and the room also -BUT:

When we went to the dinner and enjoying our meal somebody of the staff was inside our room and stole round about 50€ from the purse of my wife. We realized that cause we saw that somebody was in our room to bring two bottles of water for the night. This person stole it out of the room, we counted our cash just before.

In the morning at the checkout i told that the manager and she explained that this never happended before and that this isnt good. Then the mate was called and of course this mate told that she didn't do this but she said she was in the room.

For me that was a very bad experience and also i had to pay the bill for the dinner and the drinks, i think that the manager should have paid the bill as apologize but this wasn't the case. So pleae be carefull when staying there or better don't stay there!

Staff were friendly. Rooms had dirty windows. No effort is made to make the dining room and outside areas (veranda and pool) appealing. Food was average. Water in the room was cold.

Very hot with no AC. No animal viewing here just the vastness of the etosha pan in front of you

The location and rooms are beautiful but thé service is very poor which creates a huge and frustrating contrast. A potentiel 5 stars hotel with a 1 star service. Such a waste I wouldn't recommend.

Service friendly but got my meal wrong. If you advertise lamb as your main course, don't serve mutton. Mutton was poorly prepared, very tough. Taps of bath in room makes horrible noise, therefore not usable. One expects more from such a highly acclaimed lodge. The place has huge potential though.
