In this lodge I had one of the best experience in Africa. While we was leaving our room, I opened the door and I found a giraffe just in front of me, eating some tree. It was amazingjust few steps from me. The local waterhole is goodeveryday we had breakfast looking at ‘our” beautiful rhinos. Maybe they should improve the food Room was big and comfortable. Etosha is closed enough.

Okutala Etosha Lodge located 40km below Etosha Park's Anderson gate is without a doubt my favourite place in Namibia.
24000 hectares of land: Wild animals, rescued animals, amazing landscape, wild animal waterhole 40 meters from lapa deck, hospitality and unique luxury accommodation.

Okutala Etosha Lodge is a upper level lodge that owns several animals on their property. It’s a 40 min drive away from the entrance gate of the Etosha National Park. The rooms are nice but the customer service miserable. The manager called Bernd was yelling at us and trying to over charge us. During one night we had no power in our room and had to get along with a torch. I can not recommend the location.

Unique! Wild animals roaming around freely. This is a similar experience I've had before elsewhere Still nothing takes away from it. If you're vegetarian expect 3rd class service..
