  If I could rate it lower, I most definitely would. Absolutely terrible service, cocky staff with no respect.
  I arrived ordered my take-out, tried to pay with my card. After several failed attempts the waitress admitted the card machines had not working a while (during this time my attention had turned to the waiter/manager almost yelling at a family seated behind me, for not having cash on them as they where planning to pay with a card as well).I had given the waitress a N$20-00 as a tip.
  Once they told me the card machine definitely would not work. I asked them to cancel my order as I didn’t have cash on me, additionally, I asked the waitress for the tip money back as I was leaving. She bluntly refused and rudely told me she cannot cancel my order I must pay for it now.
  I decided to leave as I would not be spoken to in that manner.
  
  If you want terrible service, do go to this poorly run establishment.

  Worst experience ive ever had at Ocean Basket in Swakop! They got my order wrong and made me pay for it after i called the manager to tell him that my order was not correct he just told me “That’s what you ordered” he turned around and walked away! Very unprofessional! I had to pay for something i didnt order!

  Shocking Valentine's dinner. Waitress forgot to give our order to kitchen. I especially ordered less so that i could order dessert but no stock!!!!. Manager and waitress disappeared. Never again.

  Great evening atmosphere especially if you want to go for a drink after dinner. Peaceful and so quiet. I could sit here and read for hours.

  The extraction fan in the kitchen made conversation impossible. Same boring chain food - we are slow learners. Wait staff was charming if ineffective.

  Best place in town if you are a seafood fanatic. Their family platters are the best especially the Port one. You get great value for money.

  Almost waited two hours for sushi and waitress barley came pass the table to ask how we were doing, also some of the sushi was not prepared correctly and we found a fish bone... Very dangerous.

  After ocean basket reopened it's a lot better it's cleanee food is great portions are of value size and they have a lot on the menu the place to go if you want to eat sushi or fish

  The restaurant is not ready to render a service. Waited very long to put an order, thereafter another wait for the food. The food was not good..
