DON'T TRUST THEM !! Most people working there are nice and welcoming. We rented a Nissan with 2 tents on top, the car was ok, not so comfy at the back but ok.
We had a problem on the road that we fixed -with Namvic authorization- in Palmwag (worn car part). Then, Namvic managed an appointment for us in Swakopmund few days later to change a car part saying that they are gonna pay for the reparations (worn car part) BUT at the end they asked us a lot of money, even for some "future reparations". When we tried to discuss with them to understand, they became VERY agressive.
Finally RUN AWAY, they are thieves !!!report this review -

I wish I could drop a 0 star rate
I had the same experience a many other people below. We’ve litteraly been robbed there.
We had a mechanical issue with the car, due to the old condition of the car, they asked us to get the problem fixed in Swakopmund with their « partnered workshop » When we got back to Namvic we had the surprise to see that we had to pay for all the work done on the car + some « to be done work »
If you refuse to pay you simply don’t get the ride back to the airport that is fairly far from Namvic
I can’t say it enough DO NOT go there, there are so many other rental car services that is not even worth looking at Namvic !report this review -

Do not rent a car from Namvic, unless you want your money to be stolen.
They did not follow the contract we signed and we needed to pay a lot of money.
They are acting like bullies and very intimidating.
THEY SEEM NICE AT THE BEGINNING. Do not fall for this because if something goes wrong they will suck every bit of money they can suck from you.report this review -

!!!! DO NOT GET CLOSE. SCAM COMPANY. !!!!
We rented an old Nissan np300 with 2 roof tents.
At morning we started our trip and guess what happened? THE CLUTCH GOT BURNED SUDDENLY.
They DID NOT follow the contract, they DID NOT gave us another car, THEY JUST BLAME US AND TOOK A LOT OF MONEY FROM US.

The fact that a GPS and sat phones are already included in the price makes them the best car rental for fully equipped camping vehicles

We had a Nissan 1.8 the back booth did not lock properly always one of us had to be by the car afraid of a robbery. The tent bothem is bending throug (it almost is caving in). Because of that there is a opening at the hinges we’re Mosquitos can get in. The chairs are to low to eat at the table and are not relaxing to sit on. The mattress in the tent is not thick you have the feeling you sleep on wood. The seats in the car at also hard that you have to move every 2 minutes. The diesel tank was only 40 litre not 120 litre. The navigation is not up to date we stood at closed gas stations.

Poor old material, better look further. They only offer Nissan s 1.8. Back in time. Not comfortable. Better hire a Toyota Hillux somewhere

Une flotte assez grande de pick up aménagés camping (tente sur le toit) et des solutions d excursions accompagnées mais des règles un peu désuètes de conduite surveillées via mouchard Gps : limitation de vitesse 20 km/h sous la limite légale, pas de off road, des amendes de 80 euros a qui fume dans la voiture.
