INTRODUCTION
The Namibia Students Association of Excellence (Nam-SAE) is a student academic association founded on 15 October 2015. The main purpose of the Association is to motivate students regardless of citizenship, race, colour, gender, course of study etc. It has one tertiary institution branch (Namibia University of Science and Technology Excellence Team branch), two school Branches in Windhoek (Ella Du Plessis High School Excellence Team branch and Jan Jonker Afrikaner High School Excellence Team branch) and two Regional Students Councils (Kavango East Region Students Council and Khomas Region Students Council) to strengthen Namibia Education System. Students come together for motivations, pursue interests, gain leadership skills and serve the community by doing charity, Community coaching and motivations and cleaning campaigns.

The National and regional Student Council of the Namibia Students Association of Excellence consist of students from various institutions such as University of Namibia (UNAM), International University of Management (IUM), Monitronic College, VTC students and High school learners.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
1. Establish positive study habits in students/learners and make excellence a habit.
2. Build leadership capacity
3. Encourage team work and networking.
4. Motivate students/learners to study hard for their exams.
5. Continuously initiate, encourage and support academic events of various academic institutions.
6. Create conducive study environment for all students/learners.

ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS
1. Complimenting institutions academic activities and events.
2. Invite motivational speakers and hold official motivational events.
3. Organise exam preparation study camps, study skills workshops, and curriculum vitae workshops.
4. Provide refreshment to students (members) during examination (not guaranteed).
5. Promote internal and external organizations internships and job opportunities.
6. Give tutorial classes to students and learners at different institutions.
7. Do charity and cleaning campaigns.
8. Conduct Academic Research on the factors affecting students/learners to fail.
9. Organize motivational tours countrywide.
10. Organize Students leadership training at different institutions.
11. Raise funds to assist all the executive members who cannot afford registration fee.

IMPACT ON STUDENTS
1. Students are motivated to study hard and perform well.
2. Students acquire positive study habit to reach success.
3. Acquire job hunting skills, which help them to prepare effectively and apply once they graduate.
4. Nam-SAE builds interpersonal relationship by taking out students for study camp, buddy camps with international exchange students etc.

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
1. Membership is open to: all the registered Namibian students from different schools, colleges, VTCs, Universities and who wishes to improve their studies and obtain good results.
2. Who is motivated to develop a culture of studying.
3. Senior University, college and VTC students should obtain at least 40 % of the previous semester examination results.
4. High Schools learners must have at least 25 Points in the previous term examination results.
5. The number of members is not limited.
