This is the most scenic part of Namibia absolutely recommend the park to every first time visitor, here you will get to climb some of the highest dunes in the world.
It's beautiful, and a different view from the typical Namibian coastline.
Stunning desert views but sadly low maintained dirt road
Amazing area especially if u are looking for wide open spaces and beauty. Especially good for the soul as it is so peaceful.
Its a short drive from Walvis Bay. Places to see are big sand Dune #7 and Moon Valley. You will see some of the rare desert plants. Also very nice town of Swakopmund near by is a must see.
Beautiful scenery but make sure to bring sunscreen hat and glasses for the day time - it gets hot!
While walking and driving across the Namib desert during sunrise and sunset, I noticed that the color of the dunes depended heavily on both the angle of the sunlight as well as my point of view. Colors were constantly changing, and unusual pictures and patterns emerging. I managed to capture this effect on camera one morning, as can be seen in the accompanying photo below. The dune behind the tree in the picture looked as if it could not possibly be real, like clouds or some painted background because of the unique angle of the sunlight. I had only five minutes to photograph this effect—because by the time that interval had elapsed, the effect had disappeared.
Absolutely breathtaking landscapes. A photographer's dream! Best in the early morning and late in the day.
Really it is a very beautiful place. The nature of this is excellent, fabulous and outstanding! I have never seen any park like this! But I offended because it's a national park. It should be an international park. Else everything is well and beautiful. Really i this place is very interesting, like a part of paradise.
I like this place very much than any other park except Chandrima Udyan.
C.U is 1st and this park is 2nd.Yes, very beautiful park.
Fantastic is the word. 4x4 on sand dunes.experience the outdoors. Very good drivers with experience and excellent hospitality.
Beautiful country with the most beautiful landscapes. Well recommended holiday destination.
Possibly the most beautiful, special place, wild horses walk amongst the campers!
A beautiful experience of driving thru the nature
Brilliant visit in Octa definate must do for the adventurer
Great, a peaceful desert. One of it kind indeed
Nature at its Best.
Very Beautiful and interesting landscape and environment.
One of biggest national parks and a variety of animals ,plants and the famous Welwitschia mirabilis plant is home
This is the most magical place of you're happy with basic camping. There is a loo provided but no water. Some of the roads in the park are very corrugated, but the wildlife & scenery make it worth while
What an amazing place to visit. If you go to Namibia you have to visit this area. The scenery blows your mind. Staff are friendly and informative. It is a photographers paradise!
This is my opinion I think that Namibia is over rated. South Africa is a far more beautiful country. Had I known what I was in for I would rather have spent my money touring my own country.
Beautiful area. The landscape here is truly amazing. The emptiness and beauty make this park a remarkable experience
Absolutely spectacular. Well worth the extra drive

Beautiful landscape, unforgettable place
i did a jeep dessert tour through the namib (Charly's Desert Tours - think of it, if you didn't have much time)
Beautiful Park but the road from Kuiseb Pass to Sossuvlei is in bad conditions, very exhausting!
The orange red sand, the hit and the birds .
Lovely place don't miss in your trip to Namibia and the river Kunene in the north of the country.
