It's beautiful, and a different view from the typical Namibian coastline.

Its a short drive from Walvis Bay. Places to see are big sand Dune #7 and Moon Valley. You will see some of the rare desert plants. Also very nice town of Swakopmund near by is a must see.

Beautiful scenery but make sure to bring sunscreen hat and glasses for the day time - it gets hot!

While walking and driving across the Namib desert during sunrise and sunset, I noticed that the color of the dunes depended heavily on both the angle of the sunlight as well as my point of view. Colors were constantly changing, and unusual pictures and patterns emerging. I managed to capture this effect on camera one morning, as can be seen in the accompanying photo below. The dune behind the tree in the picture looked as if it could not possibly be real, like clouds or some painted background because of the unique angle of the sunlight. I had only five minutes to photograph this effect—because by the time that interval had elapsed, the effect had disappeared.

Really it is a very beautiful place. The nature of this is excellent, fabulous and outstanding! I have never seen any park like this! But I offended because it's a national park. It should be an international park. Else everything is well and beautiful. Really i this place is very interesting, like a part of paradise.
I like this place very much than any other park except Chandrima Udyan.
C.U is 1st and this park is 2nd.Yes, very beautiful park.

This is the most magical place of you're happy with basic camping. There is a loo provided but no water. Some of the roads in the park are very corrugated, but the wildlife & scenery make it worth while

This is my opinion I think that Namibia is over rated. South Africa is a far more beautiful country. Had I known what I was in for I would rather have spent my money touring my own country.
