Interesting experience. Very small lunch menu, actually only 3 choices. Beer very cold though. Road from Okahandja dangerously bad. Not to be driven with small cars. Lots of animals on road. Staff very helpful and friendly. Facilities clean and well taken care of.

I stayed here for a week with a conference and could not have had a more wonderful experience. The food was amazing. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. We were even able to see giraffes! I would love to return soon!

Very peaceful escape. Stunning rooms. Beautiful horse stables. The restaurant is great, and the pool area has an amazing view over the valley. Hiking trails with breathtaking scenery. Gym & Steam Room Facility. Definitely one of my top destinations in Namibia.

This is still by far one of the best accommodation and conference establishments in Namibia. It is the best getaway venue around. The staff are always very friendly; the atmosphere is very relaxing; the amenities are of high quality. This is an oasis of hospitality, in close proximity to nature and abundant wildlife, while offering relaxed, flexible conference facilities and 5-star quality accommodation.

Spent my Christmas in 2015 here and didnt regret a thing. So many activities and excellent service from the waiters and guides. PS free WiFi around the whole venue and horses roaming all around, guided by someone of course. Off road road might be needed to get there.

We had a wonderful weekend away from Windhoek and stayed for 2 nights at Midgard. The surrounding is beautiful - great environment but unfortunately the buildings lack maintenance. Broken tiles in the bathroom close to the pool, other bathroom closed. We didn't receive any information about the history of the building and the farm; we actually were wondering which of the buildings is the original farm house. There is no indication of it. We also didn't receive any information about the activities at the lodge as well as other valuable information.

Service in general is not very good. One hardly gets service at the pool. Drinks were not cold;; one could not order something small for lunch for the kids; We couldn't get clean cutlery or glasses at the breakfast buffet and once the breakfast buffet was finished, it was not filled up - even if it was before 9am.

I hope Midgard can improve its service in future because it is such a beautiful place and it would be sad if it deteriorates.

Warm and friendly reception. Excellent service. Good food at their restaurant. Had a fun filled weekend with the family there.
