Our experience was well above expectation at the Windhoek Mediclinic. Every staff member was eager to help and always greeted us with a smile and a kind word.

Shocking to say the least, took my 21 month old girl to the afterhours emergency center for a rash that occurred on her body, the doctor on call that assisted us told us our child has a ringworm and gave us pills to crush of all things and dissolve in water to treat the apparent ringworm along with allergex syrup, luckily I knew better and contacted our house doctor who said its not a ringworm, rather urticaria based on images we sent her, and on 11/04/23 our housedoctor prescribed some cream and cortisone syrup, and immediately the problem was solved, luckily I did not give my child those pills for ringworm treatment because that might have had an adverse affect on my child, not sure if I can trust Medi Clinic for future medical emergencies. Very disappointed to experience this types of things at a private hospital.

My most recent visit to Mediclinic Windhoek was in January 2020, but I have been there numerous times for various consultations and investigations. I have always found the Reception staff to be helpful. We are from Swakopmund and would like to make special mention of the In's Wiener restaurant. They provide a much-needed service for those who have to travel far to consult specialists and wait inbetween investigations and really need some coffee and a bite to eat. Their food is good and reasonably priced. Highly recommend this place

Made use of radiology medical imaging, aswell as the pharmacy, inside the Mei-clinic hospital. This Hospital is always neat, sufficient parking, and even beautiful flowers and trees outside to give an extra touch. Medical imaging reception was fast, but I had to wait 30+minutes before they can do my xrays.
