It's in the middle of nowhere, the power supports no hair dryers and wifi only works at the reception but even though these things normally matter to me they really didn't at Hobatere because the people were the best, we had great safaris and if you are there ask about Africat Foundation they really explain a lot about lion tracking and the eternal problems with the community. Very fascinating.
Wonderful experience, beautiful lodge...
Friendly staff
Friendly manager and great scenery with wildlife
Like the restuarant and new rooms
Special peace full good food ,exelent big game viewing and super wifi
Truly amazing bushveld experience topped by equally amazing staff and management
Amazing!!! Wonderful landscape and really friendly staff! I really loved Hobqtere Lodge!!!
Nice and run by local people
What I liked:
- Staff is really sympathetic and always willing to help with whatever issue you have.
- Food was delicious!!!
- Nice bedroom and very clean (although the room had an exaggerated cleaning product smell).
- Free wifi (but very slow).
- Comfortable lounge area with great view.
- They took us to the hide and even prepared us a nice cooler box with some fresh beers to enjoy.
What I didn't like:
- Slow wifi, although very comprehensible that it is like that.
- The shortbread cake was really not good.
- Swimming pool was very dirty. With so many employees around they could try to keep it cleaner. I know the wind blows, insects are around, etc... but it was really disgusting. And for such a hot day it was a pity guest couldn't really enjoy it.
Cool very quite. .nice to cool off your brine and feel relaxed
Great food, great service, friendly staff and the experience is indescribable.
Amazing place in total fusion with nature. In front of the main building u can admire lions, girafs and a lot of more animals. The room are big and comfortable. The dinner was really good and also the breakfast. A special thank to Alice and Denzel that give us an excellent service and share with us their knowledge about Namibian culture, traditions, animals and more. I recommend it to everyone
