Great view of the Canyon, access ok with a regular car (no 4x4).
You can go down to the river from there, it’s a 2h walk if you go slowly but it’s rocky and steep. Normally it’s forbidden to go down on your own for a day walk, only hikers who go for the 4 days trek are allowed but I nobody’s here to watch.

For the slight adventurist, the Fish River Canyon should be listed as one of the most beautiful and humbling experiences and has to be marked of ones bucket list, if not once, even twice. Around every undulating turn you tend to be greeted by some surprising marvel of Namibia's fauna and flora, After a full days hiking (at your own pace) you get to setup a campsite and will be entertained with a mesmerizing view of the cosmos, this is something the whole family can enjoy. just come prepared with water tablets and you will have an abundant supply of water from the river that meanders through this natural canvas.
