In my opinion the Hidas Center is one of the worst shoping center to go to. Little shaded parkings available and just a long list of things that I have experienced and I belive it starts with the management.

Enough free parking. Closest shoping centre to Avis and Klein Windhoek. Got all you need in for daytoday shoping and month shoping. Service station close by. With nampost just across the street. Police station and a few restorant all walking distance from Hidas centre. Chechers, Steers and FNB atm are the most populur stops

I like visiting Checkers, because they usually have a lot of bargains there, but the shop is cramped and doesn't sell everything I need; therefore I visit Woermann more often for the things I need, but their restaurant became a bit disappointing. The food on the buffet always have exploring flies on it and the toilet makes me shiver. The girls serving the food just give me annoying glances and then ignores me when I ask them to cover the food and they also ignore the manager who, by the way, is not in the restaurant during serving time to keep an eye on things. I'm afraid to eat there, because I can't see how higienic the kitchen and kitchen staff is.

If you dont mind getting harnessed by people that dont make an attempt to work but rather sit at the entrance and nag you for moneythen this is the centre to visit

It's ok for quick shopping with minimal parking, mostly in the sun. For bigger variety of stores, any of the Malls are a much better choice - also with loads of split-level parking.
