Beautiful accomodation , well maintain.
Convenient for students looking for accommodation close to campus, but the administration is sub standard and may not be worth the effort. Rent also increases yearly without much improvement in the facility (none seen over the past three years)
So peaceful I love it.
It was a very nice place to be
Great place to be..amazing place for a student who is far from home.

These are student hostels for university students. They are generally good, but also have some flaws.
Okay firstly for their features:
The hostels consist of 3 different types of rooms, namely loft, corner, and rectangular rooms and the price of the rooms increase respectively. All the rooms are occupied by 2 people, they all have a desk and chair, a shelf and a wardrobe for each occupant. A communal mirror (in room), kitchen and bathroom. The differences in the rooms is loft rooms have raised beds, corner rooms have normal beds positioned along one wall, and the rectangular rooms have normal beds positioned at opposite ends of the room. Rectangular rooms are also generally bigger than loft and corner rooms. Loft and corner rooms are found in the same block while rectangular rooms make up a block by themselves. In loft/corner rooms, the bathroom is communal to all the occupants while rectangular rooms have a bathroom between two rooms (4 people).
Other features of the hostels include dstv in the communal area, a large fridge, induction stoves, daily cleaners for the communal areas (except weekends), braii area, wifi, basketball hoop, tuck shop, laundromat, and a small study area.
The down side of these hotels mainly is due to the price of the rooms. They increase yearly, with no improvement of facilities, in some cases, some facilities are removed. For instance, the supply of kitchen utensils and cutlery was supposed to be provided by the hostels, however it seems to have stopped providing them. This is especially inconvenient with the stove-ware, as they use induction stoves, not any pots and pans will work on them, forcing students to by induction pots and pans which are expensive to begin with.
Another major problem is their offices that do not seem to have their account records in order. I personally advise to always, always keep your rent payments receipts as more often than not they may call you telling you that they have no records of your payment and begin to threaten you with eviction (without even giving the 30 day prior notice). Not particularly pleasant, especially during exam time.
Oh and also the WiFi may be limited or sometimes non-existent, which can be an annoyance.
All in all, they are still pretty good hostels, albeit expensive, and have the convenience of being right next to campus. If you have a couple more dollars to spend, and can tolerate these inconveniences for the possibly greater convenience of being right next to campus, then EMONA might just be for you.
Great student accommodation, conveniently located on campus 😊
Good view weather is optimum
Great experience am literally provided with everything
As far as college hostles go, these are the best ones in Windhoek
emona is unsafe now because security guards allow people from outside to come and first emona's residents
Great place to be
Definitely home away from home..
Safest accommodation on campus
It's ok but the guards get harsh unnecessarily.☺
