Description
Sitentu Power Plant is a 900 MW Combined Cycle Turbine Gas Power Plant (CCGT), upgradable to 4000 MW, being developed to become the ultimate supplier of cleaner, safer, reliable and more cost-effective electricity for the distribution to the entire urban and rural areas in Namibia. The commissioning for the Sitentu Power Plant is scheduled for mid-2015.
Founded in 2012, Sitentu Power Plant (Pty) Ltd is a joint-venture between Groot Group and SDS Group, both are Namibia-based and owned companies.
