I like Fruit & Veg Swakopmund, because they keep a good variety of what is in season on the shelf. I love the sweets and nuts department! The variety of cheeses. They have a great selection of meat and seafood as well. And if you finished shopping, enjoy yourself at the sushi bar! Or you can take away anything your EYES desire. Enjoy!!

Fruit and Veg city is NOT my favourite place. Prices are often higher than those in local supermarkets, the place is freezing cold and, in busy times, the queues for the tills are extremely long. The meat is Expensive by comparison with local butcheries. However, for me, it is worth going on a Thursday for the Pensioners discount! They do have some good bulk buying options which are popular with local people who have large or extended families.

Wide range of fruits, vegetables meat, backed goods, perishable- and non perishable broducts and so much more. Very clean and nice display of product.

Wheater your on a diet or just a quick stop to shop you will find what you need.

Personally I have not had any problems so far.

The prices are high sometimes but it's definitely worth it and they also offer good specials when you are on a budget.

Shopping AT F&V IS WELL WORTH. EXCEPT FOR THE PERSONEL, WHO ARE NOT TOO FRIENDLY, POKING IN FINGERNAILS, EARS AND NOSE IS NOT THE BEST THING, ESPECIALLY IF YOU WORK IN A FOOD STORE.

Most fruit are overripe, mushrooms and some veggies are rotten. Obviously bought weeks in advance at lower prices, kept in cold storage until December to be sold at much inflated prices. Sorry Fruit & Veg, but shopping elsewhere for better quality. The meat however is very good for carnivores. The veggies and fruit a huge let down. Disappointing.

Prices at the till do not match the price on the shelf. The manager gets offended when this discrepancy is brought to his attention. Blames IT for deleting all the prices. Maybe IT should come and remove the incorrect shelf talkers too?

Prices are good. Large variety. Have purchased off produce many time here. Some items that are sealed on the rack are off. Please be weary when buying 'fresh' juices etc. Irresponsible monitoring of products. Also unhappy with the cleanliness. Flies surround the open food and open baked goods areas. The small helicopter fly disturbers do nothing to chase them away. Have seen a rat or mouse running around on the floor and a few cockroaches. Something that is lacking. Cleanliness. Consumers overlook these issues because it is an accepted norm in Namibia. Does nothing to push the staff to comply to the health needs of such an enterprise. But at least 70% of the staff are smiling, helpful and friendly. Not always the case.

Good selection and prices. A lot of room to maneuver with trolleys and baskets. But it gets VERY OVERCROWDED during peak times. However the cashiers are fast so lines move quickly.
