We had a great day on the quad tour and boarding down. The guide Marshna was awesome. Guides can really make or break your experience. He and his coworker (forgot name) were fantastic.

Pretty cool experience! The food is quite tasty, I recommend the schnitzel though for lunch!

The quad bike tours are very very awesome though, and you get to see quite a lot of the dunes! However, it's very very tame :). So dont expect to do anything crazy on Tour. But it is quite a lot of fun though :)

The best place to stop for a quick cold drink and a bite to eat when you either arrive or need to get to the airport at Walvis Bay. The music is always great and the atmosphere is a very upbeat one. Do a dune trip on quad bikes or see if you can reach the top of Dune 7. A place with great history and well worth a visit.

Popped in here with some chummies late August 2015: myself and a couple other Americans, British, Aussies, several Dakar riders from South America. We toured Namibia, SA, Botswana, and Zim with Charlie Boorman and some of his buddies as guides, via BMW GS 1200. That I found it by mistake while getting (sort of) lost was half the fun. Plowing the sand on a bike, not so fun, but what the hell. Half-dozen of us ended up dropping in here, next hour or two, as we had Cokes, smokes, and (only) a beer or three in the garden. They rustled up some decent bar food, too. Not sure what else to say: this is one of the wildest places you'll ever visit, adjacent to the most astounding dunes you'll ever see. Brush up on your German and Afrikaans, if you "happen to be" near Walvis Bay. Don't miss it, in that case!

The area around here brings back the memory of cowboy movies. Great place for leisure at the centre of nowhere other than desert. Great drinks and snacks offered here. Try quad biking. It gives such a wonderful experience.

A dune bike ride, before sunset is immaculate, be sure to take a warm jacket with.
