    Sies DHL your service sucks, for such an international company with a reputable reputation, your Namibian HEAD OFFICE for express deliveries and pick-ups continues to be the laughing stock among the local courier companies.

    Please improve your tracking services and sign up your entire staff for a course in Basic English for more effective communication with your customer base. I mean who is your head of recruitment there that just blatantly hires anyone with a grade 10 qualification that can't even speak properly to the clients, who might I add are the very people you aim to serve. Another HR Blunder!!!

    I am a frequent importer and exporter of my various online purchases, yet every time I approach your offices for assistance regarding my packages, I am met with the fury and incompetence of your under-trained staff and their lack of proper etiquette. It's 2018 for goodness sake!!

    Please do something to improve your service operations - Better yet take tips from DHL South Africa.

    I don't know if DHL lost my item or what keeps holding it up there! I have been waiting for my item shipped from Illinois USA to Namibia but still haven't received my shipment since from December last year 2017. I track my shipment but is already in NA, why are they not contacting me or pick up my calls?

    Im not sure what is going on there.. I have shipped multiple packages from Hong Kong to Windhoek. The problem starts once the package arrives in Windhoek! its takes DHL 3 Days to send Vat&Duties invoice that needs to be payed which means my package is not released for pickup 5 days from when it landed in Windhoek. I am sure that im not the only person that has this complaint but it is seriously unprofessional. When you try phone DHL Windhoek office the reception answers and puts you through - i dont know where to but seems like the morgue as no one ever answers, when you phone back once again the person is not available or is busy on the line etc. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!! REALLY BAD SERVICE!!! would have been a 0 star rating if it was possible.

    Still waiting for my cash receipts for my cash payments from 2 deliveries 2 and 3 weeks ago. Pick-up staff was unfriendly and a little rude, also had no receipt book or any change, which he promised to bring me. Still no sign of my change or my receipts. Parcels were however delivered smoothly.

    Always arrange my shipments via email, works great for me, Tsadagos is always efficient and communicates when there are problems with shipment.

    Service was quick for a pickup. Staff friendly enough but there do not seem to be enough to service walk in customers.
    Does not seem to have a decent tracking process want seperate copies of ID documents allegedly for proof of delivery. Beware of identity theft possibility.

    3rd time using DHL, 3rd horrible business experience with them. Reception eating when walking in, can't even talk properly. Package they called me for the same day took 30min to find, after answering 20 questions from breakfast eating receptionist. Overall bad. I recommend any other transporter. 😩

    I have used DHL Namibia 3 times now, and every time was a BIG disappointment. I can NOT recommend DHL at all.

    The staff at DHL pretty much chase customers away with an opening line like "You'll need a commercial invoice for that." Instead they can say: "Yes sir/madam, we can help you. It is very easy, we just need you to fill in a commercial invoice and we can supply you with a template." You'll need to type the details (dimensions, mass, detailed description and value of the goods) in the template; no handwritten documents are accepted).

    Also note, should the value of the package which you stipulated in the commercial invoice be greater than N$500, then the recipient will have to pay tax on the package.

    Also don't wrap anything until they have inspected the goods, otherwise you'll have to unwrap and unpack EVERYTHING.

    Thievery with Namibia DHL.
    This Is an international company but in my case it looks very unprofessional and very local company. Is full with thieves, their communication is awful. No investigation will proceed and you will never find out what happened,
    DO NOT USE DHL DHL IS NOT SAFE.
