Food is good but the looks and atmosphere is very bad. It looks as if the place is gonna break at any moment

After driving for forever across the Namib desert, I was feeling very queasy. Dropped into this restaurant for a bowl of soup to settle my stomach , and a veg egg roll ( huh? Could not resist). My hubbie ordered a plate of Singapore noodles. I want to say that what I had, although limited, was fantastic! My husband thoroughly enjoyed slurping down his tasty noodles with all sorts of bits of delicious ingredients, "and not all those extra onions you always get"! The house looks to me like those old German architecture houses, but needs a lot of tlcif it survives at all. The service was attentive and delightful. The menu was somewhat confusing to me cuz the name of the restaurant sounds Thai, but I did not see the typical names for things like pad Thai and pad see Uiew. Seemed more Chinese than Thai. Although they call themselves "Asian". Since I gobbled down my soup and egg roll, bad as I felt, I have to highly recommend this ramshackle place!!!
