Beautiful and well maintained! The trails are awesome, it would just be nice if the guests keep the paths clear from dog poop as requested on all the signs!

Unfortunately the reservoir is dry therefore little to see. The bike trail will keep bikers busy. The young will enjoy water slides. Otherwise you have very little or nothing to do.

Amazing place for a morning walk! Just 5-6 mind drive away from the city centre. Depending on the season you may or may not find water in the dam.

Good for quick hikes and walking your dog. There aren't many trails and the water in too shallow to people swim but it is a beautiful natural reserve. Some of the infrastructure seem to be wearing out and becoming unsafe.

Avis has experienced problems with thieves in the area, but now Friends of Avis have put in 24 hour security and charge a levy to cover that cost. Best value for money is the annual membership fee.

Good trails, pretty rocky. Security guards on entrance tried to cheat me on N$20 when giving change.

A great place for a walk on the weekend. The area is large so it can run on for a 2 - 3 hike or a short stroll but don't stick around after sunrise. It's been a dry few years so the day has emptied out but it gave a beautiful view. Hopefully it fills up again in coming years since it made the hikes breathtaking in the early weekend mornings.
