Description
The Astronomy Study Group is part of the Namibia Scientific Society. Its main aim is fostering of astronomy and the interest therein at all levels in Namibia.
Hence, events like so called "Star Nights" and "Star Evenings" are organized e.g. at the Cuno Hoffmeister Memorial Observatory. Furthermore, public lectures on astronomy are held at the Namibia Scientific Society. Also screenings of interesting documentaries are conducted.
