They are not prepared for late check-in (and we warn them in advance).

I can definitely recommend the Albatros camp sites. You get so much more value for you money. Personal lapa with concrete floor. But the biggest plus is the location. On the hill overlooking the sea, so a constant sea breeze helps to keep the mozzis to a minimum.

I spent three months in Zavora and the staff at the lodge was like a second family to me. Now remember, this is Africa, things move slow but the staff members are all happy and friendly people and will do their best to serve you.

Good service. Simple, basic, great food. Beach venders are kind and sell beautiful handcrafted jewlery.

Worst place ever we stayed. Staff is unable to assist; three will stand at the till , and only after 15 min one of them will be able to help you once they look up. Price changes for food and drink on a daily basis. Worst Pao every - rather get from village down the road. They always have an ice problem. If they do not have electricity , you are guaranteed to be without water most of the day. Maintenance of the lodge is very bad. You can report a problem like leaking toilet, lights not working, no rubbish bins at the camp site and for the 2 weeks were there, nothing was done. Also seems like management did not do anything, in the first few days, we had a standing order for about 30 Pao, every day they forgot about us and we had to complain; as previously noted, get the real Pao from the village daily.
