The main luxury tents are right on the beach, offers a great view and I found them very nice to stay in. Fortunately these also have mosquito nets since the bathroom area is not completely sealed from outside. Great value for money

Right on the ponta do ouro main beach which is absolutely beautiful. It is quite rustic and the maintenance isn't great, but if you're after a simple holiday on the beach this is great. Apparently excellent diving available, although we did not try that. I wouldn't suggest taking young kids during oral time only because the nights can be a little disrupted, but overall a lovely holiday atmosphere.

Unbelievable Situation - You cant get closer to the Beach!! Cool, airey units. Clean. Self catering. Also Nice affordable restuarant adjacent. Excellent seafood and grills. Good service

We went in the low season. Great place. Really fun.
Hot running water, nice sea breeze, right next to the beach! MAKE SURE YOUR CAR HAS 4x4 or you will get stuck in the sand. Our 4x4 was broken and we got stuck 3 times to and from the beach.
It was really windy when we stayed and we thought our roof might come off (maybe a little exaggerated, but it rattled the whole night).
Our little hut was nice but the general facilities are dirty or falling apart. Highly recommend the restaurant. The food is delicious!
