Place of Help is a new ministry to help worldwide Christian help people in the city of Tete, where I live here in Mozambique.
In Tete there is many social missions helping kids, adults, orphans but none helping homeless people.
Tete is located in the poor part of this Mozambique.
Nowadays I work as a volunteer missionary to Igreja Evangélica Nova Aliança from Brazil. The main purpose I came here was to help with church planting but it is impossible to live here and don't do social work.
I talk to my pastors and they approved my intention of helping homeless people on my spare time but I have to rise my own financial funds to do so.
I decided to start this page to raise these funds and show my work here with church planting as well as helping homeless people.

  Houses are built in the top of rocks in the community of Tete called "matundo". No car or motocycle can go thru. Water pipe and electricity is a luxury for few. Sanitation does not exists. Yet people are happy and willing to hear the Gospel.... On saturday we will have a great worship metting here.

  It is rewarding to see Mozambicans preaching the gospel. See time spending and being away from home reciprocated by these attitudes. Each day I am more sure about the prophecies to Mozambique. It is marvelous to be in the center of the willing of God. God is faithful at all times.

  Evangelism with children near Tete. They are barefoot and maybe hungry, but they listen carefuly to the gospel and belive. I love these little ones from Mozambique that Jesus protect and care.

  Wonderful meeting this Sunday night. Many new people came to hear the gospel. I am looking forward to distribute the meal package this week and start planning the written material to the working skills classes.

  As part of this mission to help other people here in Tete, I will begin to supply some families with a hundred dollar meal package to them. I plan to do the donations every mondays and each family will get this package once a month. If you want to adopt a family to help on monthly basis with this hundred dollar meal package, please let me know and I will provide you with more information. Meanwhile, in October we will start some basic skill classes such as computing, crafting and crochet to help those families to work and get their own money for food in the future.

  Sunday morning I had a meeting with cells leaders and gave them lots of strategies on how they could expand their cells and get more people to know about Jesus. It was very pleasant to see them open their eyes to so many ways we can help other people to understand and believe in our only savior Jesus Christ.
