    Best of Pomene
What a place to go where there are no 4 wheelers, no noise, just the sound of the water. Paradise Beach Lodge captured our hearts years ago and we have been returning sometimes three times a year. Each year it gets better. The Management and Staff are always the same, Jantjie has been working for us since our first trip and goes the extra mile to ensure we get well looked after. The restaurant food is always great be it a pizza or those tiger prawns France loves to serve up and the bread delivered makes the waste expand. My best is to get up in the morning and not have to launch the boat but just get into it and go to sea, fishing is great and we always have something for the pot. From doing the booking with Carol to laughing and making jokes with France to feeding Coco - Paradise Beach Lodge your name does you justice. You have maintained the service throughout and nothing is too big or too small. Best holiday destination in Moz. See you all soon and thanks for the good times.

    Best of Pomene
After spending the most amazing 10 days at Paradise Beach Lodge I feel like I have left my heart behind and part of my soul. To wake to those amazing sunrises and enjoy coffee with the sound of the water on the edge of the beach rejuvenated my inner peace. Paradise Beach Lodge is a stunning resort set where there are still pansy shells, flamingos, starfish, sea horses this is still an un-spoilt piece of coastline that one can enjoy (no 4 wheelers thank goodness). The walks in the morning in any direction and the treasures found make each day to be remembered, the dolphin mom with her pup was a highlight of my one day. The units are tasteful and clean and airy allowing one to have a nice afternoon nap after swimming in the crystal clear water of the estuary. The staff were amazing from cleaning the boat to washing our clothes to dishes nothing was too much for him and always with a smile on his face. The fishing was good, the snorkeling was a maze of sealife and although the lodge was full it is so nicely spaced out that you have the privacy you want. The food in the restaurant is to die for and just thinking about it makes my mouth water, and the cocktails you have to try. All the staff are so helpful and pleasant this is a must if anybody wants to go and see un-spoilt beauty. Thanks to Frans, Carol and Mark for making our stay so amazing will see you guys in August again.

    Amazing yet once again.
Thank you to the Management and Staff of Paradise Beach Lodge for making our holiday yet once again amazing. This was not our first visit but our 8th and we have already booked again. We had the time of our life, the weather was a bit windy but we used out toys to wind surf, kite surf and the fishing no matter what was excellent. The accommodation is so ideal with being able to wake up and get into the water virtually on your door. Guys you have an unbelievable resort and are always around to offer advice where to fish, what to use and you sure go the extra mile. What a pleasure to not have to go to town for those things forgotten in the excitement of packing, thanks France for always doing our shopping. The food is always excellent and the service just as good. Your Calamari I think is the best I have ever had and coming back now to SA makes it difficult to eat seafood elsewhere. Keep those R and R's ready for our next visit. Thanks again for an amazing holiday.

Wonderful location but management is terrible. We arrived after a 20 hour drive and the accommodation we booked and paid for wasn't finished being built. When we finally moved into the place it felt like we went on holiday to help build someone else's house. We had one working toilet ( which moved when you say on it) and a single basin that leaked. The location was amazing but we received nothing but promises and excuses from management. At a stage management came to us to complain about how much other guests are complaining who don't have water or electricity. Absolutely shocked that they would accept payment knowing fully that what was promised can't be delivered. The website also contains a lot of false advertising at it boasted a pool ( which is still under construction) and called it one of the top 5 diving sites in the world and yet there is no diving location anywhere nearby. Very disappointed and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

We have been travelling to Mozambique for many years and have spent the last few in Pomene at Paradise Beach Lodge. For anybody looking for a home away from home, peace and tranquillity, good accommodation, great food, excellent service and friendly helpful staff and Management this is the place to be. We travelled years until we found this place tucked away and now look no further. It offers great value for money accommodation, the setting is breath taking and the safety is the cherry on the top.

We launch our boat the day we arrive and only need to take it out when we are packing, it is safe in front of our unit. The staff of Paradise helps you load the fuel, clean your tackle and clean the fish (of course, there is always some for them). France always sees there is additional fuel for us.

Each day they deliver hot bread, the setting of the restaurant makes you want to just sit on the deck drinking the cocktails that Dr Victor (we called the barman that) makes so perfectly. The food is delicious, the portions humongous and everybody has a smile. The atmosphere is so relaxing that most clients pop in for that sundowner and we have made so many friends over the years. France always has a joke and a laugh and willing to listen to your fishing stories and gives advice.
To wake up each morning and to lie in bed and look out to sea you think you somewhere else each day. Our best time is in the morning with a cup of coffee and rusks to sit and watch the sun come up, our friend Coco (the resident dog) joins in for rusks and now we have one on one while we soak up beauty this place has to offer.
France, you have an amazing resort. The staff is friendly; not locking anything makes this the best for me.
