This is a historic icon in Mozambique. The architecture is amazing. Entrance to the building is free but you need to pay Mtr 50 to enter a museum. If you love trains you will enjoy the museum. There are old trains displayed around the building and there are two in the tracks. The place is very clean and the landscaping outside is perfect. Just outside the main entrance to the compound is a pandemonium with several vendors selling all kinds of merchandise from bread to battery chargers to dried fish. From across the building is a statue dedicated to those who fought during the war. The place is a walking distance to a mosque and mercado central. This is a must see!
History still in motion.
What a lovely historic building. Restored to its original glory. The mint green painting and corridors remind one of times gone by filled with laughter, joyous trips up in Mozambique. Very Colonial. This is a MUST see if you are doing a trip to Maputo
Great landmark and sweet people around.
Good service
Violent security guards
Good views
Too much corruption
This is a beautiful building There is not much to do.. But it is a must see destination if you are in the harbor
Beautiful architecture just sad their is no restaurant
Edifício bonito e imponentes que conserva aquela arquitetura original. É um dos locais historicos e antigos da cidade com uma beleza espectacular.
The beautiful CMF Railway Station in Maputo, the capital of Mozambique, is a splendid remnant of Portuguese colonial rule.
Nao gostei da imagem nao tem qualidade
Super easy to find.
Beautiful station. Now Just need trains to more places in Mozambique.
