Stunning view, only found a few animals with all the rain but had a great experience. Road a bit rough, you will need a 4x4.

Beautiful nature reserve and sanctuary of the African elephant. The park is constantly growing and improving day by day. A 4x4 is needed to move around the park, there are many sand dunes, especially in the northern area. Wildlife and a lot of biodiversity.

This park is starting to show real promise. Game numbers increasing. Lots of ellies in the marshlands. New entry gates are quite jacked.

Staff at the entrance were very friendly and helpfull. Small cafe and clean toilets. Passing through reserve towards Santa Maria. Great scenery. At the very beginning we saw lots of giraffe right next to the road. Big herds of elephants further on. Some in far distant. Be carefull to get stuck in the mud though. Keep your entrance receipt to be able to exit on the other side at the gate.

I just love the drive and scenery. Recently (2017) they brought in more animals. Road from Maputo or Ponta d'Ouro is fabulous now. Facilities in the parque either zero or expensive. Waste removal should be upgraded, potentially a five star destination.

Great place but roads could really be developed more. Be sure to bring a GPS and take a picture of the map on the wall where you enter as many of the roads are not in Google maps or up to date.

Great 4X4 terrain to test your skills in the soft sand roads. Beautiful scenery especially at the lakes.

Very poor wildlife reserve. They should invest in better conditions for the rangers and accommodation for tourists. There should also be more publicity in Maputo. Hopefully things will change with the new bridge and road being built.

One of the best places I've seen in the south of Mozambique. Highly recomendable! Remote and wild, it has three lakes of different colors and astonishing beaches. You need a 4x4 to get there. There are options of accomodation in a lodge or camping. The camping area doesn't have electrity and I just saw one water tap, so campers need to bring everything themselves.
