The day I arrived (22/04/2018) there was light failure and checking in was difficult. Going to the room was through the stairs and the lights would go out because the generator was faulty.
After the scare of about 2 hours, everything turned smooth and marvellous, as the lights were turned on for the remaing 6 days!

The experience was satisfactory as per my overall score.
The bedrooms are very small, tight I think it should be bigger.
The restaurant menu is very poor, it has very limited choices and the prices are very high. The hotel should definitely add alternatives in their menu. I stayed two nights in the hotel, I had dinner in the first but the second I ate in a different restaurant due the limited options and high prices of the food.

    The STAFF is lovely.

    Regards,

This hotel is totally inadequate to accommodate international guests. The rooms is totally too small. The breakfast is inadequate and unknown to international guests. The Hotel has a fungal smell.

I WILL NEVER STAY AT TIVOLI BEIRA EVER AGAIN. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE DOLLARS SPENT PER NIGHT

Efficent receptionist. No porter or conceriage available. Poor breakfast . Quantities not replinished. Wardrobe in room musty. Room smelt of smoke. Not sufficent pillows. Bathroom too small . Wasted money on sundries in room but essentials not there. For example..not sufficent plug points, chipped dirty crockery, no dnd signage, dirty desk..marked and stainned bed.

Good experience but very embarrassed on check-out because someone guiding the receptionist was trying to change the payment procedures.

As said before, the overall enviroment are very cosy, the food are very good and the service in general are very good. This is one of the reason I all ways insist with the organization I am working to, for staying at same hotel.

Often last 12 - 16 months, I have been at the hotel around 6-8 times, varing from 1 day to 6 days.

Nice room with large bed, 2 TVs, A/C. Very friendly staff. Restaurant food is delicious and very reasonable. Only downside is side of bathroom - way too small.

The rooms are good for a 3 star hotel. But the food is expensive for certain items. Like the pork filled I had: 850mt for 4 small dry slices of pork and chips is ridiculous to charge so expensive where you can have a nice pizza for half the price almost. And you can have a nice spaghetti bolognaise is for 550. So 850 is ridiculous. I will understand if it was a 5 star hotel for the price of that pork and it doest even come with a Salad just dry pork and some chips with mustard sause
