Spent an amazing weekend at Dunes Dr Dovela and I highly recommend you check it out. They have an amazing space that is built right into the dunes with great views everywhere you look.

The staff was great, the food was outstanding and our bungalow was spotless. It's easy to see how much time and effort the owner's have put into the place and their staff was eager to help with everything.

I cannot speak highly enough of Dunes de Dovella. As soon as you arrive and enter the main area you get a sense of just how thoughtfully and carefully the lodge has been designed to integrate into the landscape. Somehow it maximise the extraordinary beauty of the setting (and it is truly extraordinary), without imposing on the surroundings or seeming overtly man made. The care and passion needed to create something so special in this remote location seems incomprehensible until you meet the owners, Alex and Thomas, and then everything makes sense. They are the beating heart of the place, and I have no doubt that anyone who stays here will walk away with a deep sense of gratitude to them for all they have done to make this place so special. It is quite simply superb. The staff are all incredibly friendly, while the food is all locally sourced and delicious, no doubt a fortunate consequence of Alex and Thomas' french heritage.

We stayed in one of the tents in peak summer. It was hot, but not uncomfortably so as there are multiple routes for the cool sea breeze to blow through. The bed was also very comfortable. One huge additional positive is that because of the location there are no mosquitoes. None at all! As for the toilets, all I will say is that they were one of the many highlights. As with everything else they are very nicely done, and have a view that will leave you standing in the shower for a lot longer than you need to be!

In short, stop fannying around and book it. You will definitely not regret it.

The perfect place to "re-nature" man and woman. Terrific place, nice staff, tremendous fusion cuisine For fish and rock shellfish lovers. Walks in the forrest, snorkelling, bird watching, monkeys, whales (from july to october), turtles nest caring too many activities for a sole human being!
