  Really nice upcoming backpacker's right on the beach! Great place to spent a day or 2 to break up the long drive if you are going further up north! Very comfy beds and hot shower!

  Excellent location. Clean and neat. Good value for money. Note that the dorm does not have privacy curtains. Individual power points for each bed. Air conditioning available. Loved the restaurant which also has vegan options.

  A praia é linda. Tem uma especie de mural natura ums 200m depois da costa.
  É incrivel, uma naturesa divina.
  Sempre que for respeite os sinais de perigo, embora a praia não seja violenta e haja sempre salvavidas aos aredores.

  This place is excellent for low budget travelers. The owner, Frans, is a really great guy. Very helpful and informative. The staff, the food and the bar are all excellent. The beach location is gorgeous and peaceful. The only down part is there are many people coming up trying to sell souvenirs to you. And although one is quite sympathetic to their economic plight, there is a limit to how many souvenirs one desires and how many solicitations and interruptions one can handle. So I did have to ask the staff to put the word out that we didn't want any more solicitations. Which they did, And it worked. I would advise you to do the same if/when you've reached your limit All in all the whole experience at Bamboo Beach Backpackers was a great break in our African Travels. Highly recommended for a low budget beach experience.

  Great place to stay right on the beach. It's an old Portuguese style home retrofitted for backpackers. I along with another girl were the only guests so the owners just gave us the key to stay for the few nights. It gets buzzing at lunch and night as it is situated on the beach that all the locals gather around.
