Definitely worth visiting. Tea and scones is nice. Great view and the decor has been preserved quite nicely. Like an old country cottage.Waiters do their best. But watch out for the price though!

Despite all the down reviews from google map during past few months or even years, we stayed with Ye Olde smokehouse for a couple of days. Staffs were friendly and the time we spend there was quiet. This permise is much more smaller than the one on the Cameron highland. Food was okay. Service was better than what you can see form the reviews. Just enjoy the chill air and quiet surroundings here and be kind to everyone too.

It was a bit run down and the food was expensive. But it was very yummy. The views where amazing. And its a great place to go for the day.

The place has been fairly preserved. The fireplace is no longer used. Unfortunately, service is HORRIBLE here. Kitchen cannot cook a decent steak, waited one hour to get order. Our booked table was given to another family. Cheap cutleries. Honestly, go somewhere else for you accommodation, what more dining. A family of 4 stormed out of their Xmas dinner booking as they were asked to come back next day. So sad..:(

It was an English rehabilitation center in the early 1900s, a very iconic historical building that should be very well preserved not only by the Hotel Restaurant that is operating now but to the municipal as well. With a Little Muzium on the Hill, a lots of very old history on the Hill can be reveal and the people all should know about the British army expedition for precious metals on the hill. Someday the actual life stories of the Chinese and Indian collies should be told during the colonial days.

Lovely colonial-style guesthouse in great location. The charme of that era was nicely conserved. Staff friendly.

    Cons:
    - Although we had transferred the full price before our stay we were asked to pay a rest?? After clarification with the manager that demand was suddenly dropped.
    - Breakfast was rather poor. Sausages not tasty. Bacon too fatty.

I came here for hi tea and the experience was satisfying. Reasonably priced cream tea set and perfect environment for afternoon tea.

    Looking for English romance?

This is an old English bungalow but it's a hotel and lavish restaurant. Candlelight dinner is also served (I saw a gay couple having dinner, oh my, the couple was indeed lucky).

The kitchen is closed by 9:30pm, but drink is served until 12 am. Bear in mind, the fact it is Fraser Hill, the food service will be slightly slow, but worth the wait.

The interior is completely something to look for. Upstairs is the hotel room area, so you might hear loud footsteps while dining (it won't cause mini earthquake).

The internet coverage is not good here, but there is wifi.

Foods start from rm20+++, tea time for two will cost rm55 at least. Steak price can range from rm70+++. Hotel room starts from rm330+++.

You may also find entertainment when you enter the restroom. Trust me.

Here for tea. The set for 2 at rm55 (incld. GST and service) is worth it given the portions and ambience. We prefer this over the Cameron Highlands one. More quaint :)

Quaint little hotel up in Fraser hill. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself is cozy and beautiful. Sitting outside for high tea gives you a good view of hills and tree. The scones are delicious!

A must visit if you are in Fraser hill. The tea and scone is the all time favorite. Nice colonial building but in need of better upkeep.
