WARIS Research Groups was set up at 2013 as Cultural and Heritage Research Groups (CHRG). This group is one of the Research and Academic Catalyst at Faculty of Design and Architecture, UPM before it was change into WARIS at 2015. This research group is design to actively stimulate research and knowledge management in Malaysian Culture and
Heritage. The group is responsible to systematically document, analyze and disseminate the intrinsic quality of our authentic culture and fragile heritage as a lesson to be reconstructed in our modern and contemporary culture and community.
