The doctor is good, but their nurses are really terribly rude. I tried to ask for queue number and the nurses told me go talk to the other nurses. I tried to ask for a receipt to claim from insurance, they said they cannot issue any receipt.
Dr Yap is excellent and narrowed down my problem immediately. Staff is efficient and the prices are way cheaper than any specialist hospital.
Experienced doctor at affordable price. Dr successfully removed my sebaceous cyst. Quick to diagnose and waste no time for chit chatting. Consider efficient looking at the crowd. Recommended!
People are saying that mindy the receptionist is rude but she was actually very patient and friendly with me and my mother. We had a great experience other than the waiting time but the wait is worth it because he is in fact, the best in Malaysia. 10/10
The receptionist were not friendly and the young doctor did not consult properly. Do not come if it is not Dr Ting. The other doctor did not diagnose the patient properly. Only touch and go. Not worth your money and time. Might as well go to the normal general practitioner clinic or just go to pharmacist if they are just going to do touch and go. Please diagnose your patient properly and ask for their history. They go to specialist to get better consultation and not just touch and go. Please respect your patient. I do not recommend those who have sensitve skin to go here.
The receptionist's attitude is super poor and the way of speaking is rude and impolite. Please learn how to be kind to your customer!!!!!!!!!!
Highly recommended for those who enjoy being treated worse than government clinics and pay premium prices.
Even if this doctor was the last dermatologist on this planet, I'd rather die than let him treat me.
As a final word of advice, do NOT come here for treatment unless you enjoy extreme humiliation and total lack of courtesy
OMG. What a bunch of whiners. I have been going to Dr Ting for 25 years. I am writing because I couldn't believe the rating numbers.
Please give the good Dr's site little respect.
The parking complaints?? GRAB!!!
The receptionist complaint?? You try doing that job!!!
You are waiting to see a world class dermatologist at Malaysian prices; not ordering a nasi lemak.
Gleneagles and Prince Court both have excellent parking facilities and heavily staffed reception. If those are your metrics then please go there and clear the waiting room at Dr Tings for patients with serious dermatological issues.
Very difficult to get a car park and finally after getting one, it was pretty upsetting after meeting with the front desk nurses. I had an emergency case of a skin boil blistered (at the nose area, very near to the eye) with my 4 year old daughter.
Both nurses rejected my registration to meet the doctor just because I walked in. The doctor only treat by appointment.
Not only that, the nurses gave an unprofessional suggestion by saying my 4 year old daughter can be treated by a normal GP without knowing the risk of surgery. When I questioned them back about the risk that can lead to blindness, they just kept quiet. And I know, I just need to walk away.
I will never come back to this place anymore.
Dr Ting I know that you’re so well known and good specialist in the field for many years.
But I really think that You Should Talk to Your Beloved Staffs.
The telephone etiquette is Very Much Rude, and the nurse hung up my call before I finish my words and asked me Not To Call Back Again!!!!!!!!!!!
What is this? Is this what your clinic customers service should be?
The nurse is attitude have improved.
Visit today, whole process took me 1 hour 45 minutes. Nurses are helpful and efficient. Will need to come back in 2 weeks time. Hopefully my skin condition will get better ^.^
I have waited for 4 and a half hours already and its still not my turn. It just takes way too long
No rude nurses.. Everything okay and waiting time is half an hour. Btw the Doctor consulted me is Dr.Yap And the price is affordable mine is RM210 for one month supply.
This clinic is superb! I dont understand why some people keep complaining about the waiting time hello? Before you go to this clinic you know a lot of patients go to this clinic and the long waiting is post all over the social media sites. The nurses are not ruse they are just busy as many patients visiting this clinic(non-stop).
Actually I went for few times.. nurse so far ok. Yes, normally I have to wait more than 3 hrs, but I feel worth it coz Dr.Ting really can help me on my extreme sensitive skin. One of the Chinese nurse there is all the time friendly compared to the rest. As long as my skin problem can solve, service so far so good, and Important is .. they already make a lot of changes compared to their previous service.
Super rude and unprofessional nurses (yes all staff there). Just change them and get a better nurse. Waiting time? 3 hours and above, unless you come in at 7am and camping in front the clinic. Others? All good.
Despite the nurses services, dr.ting is a highly experience dr who's able to diagnose and provide a solution quickly. But please be prepare to wait. Long wait but worth the wait if youre looking for professional advice
The most terrible service that I have especially the Indian nurse talk very rude to customers and not respect to customers at all even my friend went there b4 also say so. *An Indian nurse who know to speak Cantonese.
The specialists doctor ok.
Terrible service from the receptionists & Dr.Ting
Here are few complaints from my experience:
- Looooooooooooooong waiting time. But that's not the worst.
- Name being called by one of the receptionists in a condescending way, like I'm a prisoner.
- Was told to enter room no.2 when the patient inside comes out. Once I got in, I was told to get out by a staff, reason being, the patient before me came out just to visit the restroom. I wasn't informed properly and treated rudely.
- When I ask Dr.Ting for further clarification on my skin condition (Eczema) and advise to prevent reoccurrence. Not only I didn't receive advise from him, he was being perfunctory.
- Got prescribed 2 types of cream and 1 packet of tablets + consultation fee = RM130. What a rip-off.
