  The exterior looks promising but as a whole this place is a disappointment and an embarrassment. Poor service and unfriendly staff who can't even communicate with me. I was sat inside in front of the service counter behind the entrance with my family. It was hot and stuffy. Even after complaining, the staff did not try to rectify the problem but explained that it is the way it is. Yet, they continued leaving the doors open. The food arrived after almost an hour even though it was not a busy night. Food was bland and nothing to shout about. My mother ordered a medium well steak but was given medium rare. She was already half way through her steak when I decided to call the waiter to come have a look. I told him to have the chef explain but he just gave me a puzzled look and removed my plate. I was dumbfounded as he acted as if nothing happened. I got no explanation and no apology by the end of the night. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Must I add that the food is pricey too. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE WHO WILL APPRECIATE YOU.

  I was recommended by local Ipohian to visit Secret Garden. After reading some of the reviews here, I reluctant to visit this place.
  
  To my surprise, my first experience with my friend from Singapore to Secret Garden was damn good!!! Great service from waiter, WenJie. Great Live Band performance by JJ & Catherine. Thumb up to nice people and ambience. Definitely will come again next visit to Ipoh :) super awesome place and gave me super awesome experience
