Atlas Piano Mfg. Co., Ltd., is one of the top four piano manufacturers in Japan today, garnering prestigious ratings in Japan and the world over.

Backed by over seventy years of history & experience, Atlas Piano was the first piano manufacturer to obtain J.I.S (Japanese Industrial Standard), as well as first being appointed official piano for performance by the Japan higher institution of music (Japan National Music University)
Atlas piano was later appointed by the Japanese Ministry of Education to be used in education of music. It was once being called a ‘Piano for Education’.

The company was being founded by experts & professors at Tokyo National University of Music in Japan together with some piano designer guru from Europe. And in 1943, Atlas Piano Mfg. Co. was born.
After years of successful research and development, Atlas Piano became the first in Japan to receive the prestigious U.S. seal, and in its continuous commitment to development, it is one of the designated resources of the Shizimoka School of Acoustics and the Tokyo Conservatory of Music for tonal research and acceptability.
This well-thought-out instrument is being marketed very conservatively under the auspices of President Rimas, a former concert pianist.
The development concept of Atlas Piano was for the purpose of satisfaction, education & performing and far from profit, hence the higher standards of the R & D over the other manufacturers.
