Went for two main concerts which is AJL and Siti Nurhaliza. Expect sucks internet connection here and its not so cold…so dont wear blanket if you coming for concert😂
-indoor stadium
-outside; subway (can also access from inside), ramly burger
-inside; subway, toilets, small prayer room
-airconditioner is airconditioning. Very tiptop!
-for concert goers, any view is greattt, sound system veryyy great
-walk around 10 minutes from lrt bukit jalil, actually near but due to the hills, yeah
-has 1 big mosque, beside lrt
-next to national stadium bukit jalil, a sport centre place; national aquatic gymnasium also there
-i went there on Sunday at 5am, got 2 guards, the guardhouse is next to Axiata, few people already start running , I think they are the athletes because after that there were many people keep coming for a run around the national stadium
-outside veryyyy hotttt, bring your own umbrella, hat, mineral water, hand fan
The venue boasts excellent facilities and seating arrangements, providing a clear view of the events from various angles. The acoustics are impressive, enhancing the atmosphere during concerts/performances/badminton games. The staff is accommodating and ensures a smooth and enjoyable experience for attendees. The arena's accessibility and parking options make it convenient for visitors.
PETRONAS Malaysia Open 2024. If you are a fan of badminton, you must experience the fanatic fan of Malaysia and the atmosphere. Seat is decent, not the best. Food is available inside and outside. Outside food can’t be brought in. A few mini events inside but long queues.
Very convenient access now with lrt. Parked in one of the puchong station and a 20 min ride. Much more convenient than driving there during events. Approximately less than 10 mins walk to the hall, with proper pedestrian walk way.
Air conditioning is a bit too cold for my liking. Decent facilities tho for something finished almost 2 decades ago.still well-maintained
This place is amazing. The building design is wonderful. Love this spot
Convenient to get to under a covered walkway direct from Bukit Jalil station. I went to see the Malaysian Open badminton so these comments apply to that. Very frustrating and slow ticket buying experience at the kiosk leading to queues but once inside it's a good venue, decent views and lots of reasonably priced food options.
Swimming pool is great for senior like me. Enjoy my swim every Friday for an hour. Timing is appropriate for me 10.30 to 12.30 especially moreover the pool is covered. 👍👍👍
Only here for Dota 2 KL Major. The hall is quite good. Nicely air conditioned and good sound system.
The stadium itself is really awesome and grand. I was here for KL Major, an esports event. However, the food choices here and it's rules and regulations need to be diversified as it's really hard to get food around here without going out. As a result, there are horribly long queues in all the food shops in the arena's area.
Very professional with a unique architecture. Not obvious from afar as it is located inside the sports complex in between gate c and d of the Bukit Jalil National Stadium. Mostly organizes concerts, sporting event and fairs. Famous for One championship and famous artists, this place is a regular event space. Very well organised security also makes this place upscale and facilities provided is amazing. Parking is available in front of the national stadium or even behind the arena along the road. This place is a air-conditioned place therefore smoking is prohibited and we'll never get hot.
Superb arena. Was the first DotA 2 major of my life and this experience was priceless. The way the crowd was handled the internal facilities as well as the restrooms were clean all the time. It's quite easy to grab a cab here. However there should have been more food stalls inside to handle the queue since it took like an hour of standing in the queue to get one meal. We had to do it almost three times for 3 days in a row. But all in all the Axiata Arena is awesome
This place are well organized and very clean. Easy Access from public transit and is safe, clean, nearby, and have guide very well for the visitors. The venue operating smoothly just lack variety of food stalls, drinks, and so on. Some Sections are in a good veiwing area from the cheap seats but sit in first and second rows from the railing to have a clear views... Good venue for the events, have convenient parking. Just that might be quite jam after concert or end of event.
Can be said the only location for concerts and sport events in Malaysia, location not really strategic with usual bad traffic around bukit jalil. Not very impressive with their security and safety team in helping the flow. Ticketing system not as advance, only printed fine print can be recognised and we are forced to print them at RM20 each just to get the hard copy. Boo.
Good venue for event, convenient parking. Just that might be quite jam after concert or end of event. Inside has 100plus water consession and toilet facilities. Convenient to reach by lrt as well.
I went for a concert a few hours ago. It was a let down. Congestion into and out of car park was so bad and there's no traffic control. Took us 20 minutes to get in, despite being there 1.5 hours before start of concert, and 45 minutes to get out! The indoor stadium looks run down. If you are on the row behind the railing, part of the view will be blocked. Good luck adjusting yourself to watch between the metal rods. Sound system is terribly disappointing. Vocal is drowned most of the time. The lighting glares into your eyes quite a bit, and you got to block off what you paid to watch! Feel very sorry for the performers.
Since the changes that occur around the area. This building is a nice environment with great toilets. Also outside, there's cafes and restaurants. A good place to chill while looking at athletes who's tryna go training
This place is well organized and clean. Access from public transit is safe, clean, nearby, and marked well for visitors. The venue ran smoothly but lacks the normal variety of food stalls, drinks, and so on. Sections 407 and 417 tend to be in a good veiwing area from the cheap seats but sit one or two rows from the railing to have a clear view.
World class facilities. Newly renovated during the 29th South East Asian games. Congrats for a job well done
Very nice courts and facilities. We went for the ASEAN games and it was very lively and enjoyable. They had loads of food trucks so there was a variety of food options when hungry. It is conveniently located to a metro station.
Seating is bad. Watching one championship on gold ticket, all i can see is the back of someone head. Axiata should renovate and ensure seating have enough elevation for a comfortable viewing angle for ticket buyer.. if you have to go this place, buy cheaper ticket on top. You get much better view of centre court
Big 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Job well done for newly renovated stadium. Layout is good, outdoor is marvellous, up to date design and sounds system. Can’t complaint much. I will gladly visit here more often if there’re any future events held here.
The newly upgraded arena has been nicely refurbished with new seats and flooring. Toilets look cleaner. Backtage areas are definitely more presentable and worthy for VIPs, artistes and athletes. Overall, the arena looks brighter and of international level.
Great acoustics. Comfortable media centre. Clean restrooms. But not enough parking
Good place..only irritating thing is we are not even allowed to bring mineral water inside.imagine wqtching a live concert and singing along but no water allowed
Upgraded for SEA Games 2017, the facilities were given a new life and I should say it has the world class standard now!
Formerly known as Stadium Putra.Nearest station lrt Bukit Jalil. Badminton 2017 SEA games is held here. Can be a concert venue too. Surau (prayer room) provided. Ac is great. Selling food and water. Cant bring mineral water including your own water bottle.(must left it outside)
Came to watch the SEA Games badminton quarter finals. It's a nice stadium with a large seating capacity and is quite cooling. It's not a long walk from the Bukit Jalil LRT station. But perhaps the whole event's operating procedures took a bit away from the experience. We weren't allowed to bring water bottles into the stadium - even empty ones - and had to leave them at the entrance. They then sold those little plastic Spritzer water cups that you have to poke with a straw to drink from for RM1 each. Toilets needed to be better maintained as the dryer is inefficient and the hand towels ran out.
Perfect sport complex
Check out the brand new arena!
Great stadium with easy access & near LRT public transport
This is a nice indoor stadium but not as good as Singapore Indoor Stadium. Putra Indoor Stadium provided more 3,000 seat but there are lack of sign boards or instructions and always make the new comer confused. The lifts always broken and make the disable peoples feel difficult.
Lots of events. Previously was Malaysian Invasion Mixed Martial Arts(MIMMA). Great event, well organised, clean.
Toilets in a decrepit condition. Only 2 out of 6 urinals working, no soap and some taps about to fall off. Layers of stains on stadium's seat upholstery. Major overhaul will not save this facility. It needs to be torn down and rebuilt.
