The programs offered by the School of Foundation Studies are geared to fulfilling current and future demands and to remain competitive and relevant in the business world. The school's aim is to develop forward-thinking graduates by furnishing them with foundation qualifications with qualified lecturers.

The Southern University College Foundation are one year programmes that prepare students with SPM qualification or equivalent in order to enter undergraduate or home grown degree programmes offered by Southern University College.

The programmes provide students with a selection of core compulsory and major elective courses that will enhance their academic knowledge in the respective areas of study and at the same time develop their understanding and appreciation of other basic courses.
