Food is delicious but service need improvement.. training should be provided so that they won't make the mistake as to replace the plate across customers..
This huge restaurant used to serve dim sum, which I loved, but they’ve since halted the dim sum menu. Their famous dish is the tong-po pork, braised pork in dark, caramelised sauce and served with man tou, or white, fluffy bread.
The braised fish maw with bean curd is also worth ordering. Servings are a little on the small side, suitable for three to four persons. Order several more dishes to share if you’re dining in groups of six or more.
Nice food. Good service. Reasonable price.
Delicious dim sum service and dishes... price is expensive but you will get the satisfaction. Good for corporates to have guest servings and gathering among colleagues.
Not your ordinary Chinese restaurant. If you expect typical Chinese dishes, you'd be disappointed. They do 'experimental' dishes, try new stuff. Their style tend to be Chinese base with a touch of European methods; some would call it "fusion". Everything on the menu is good, haven't had anything bad. Service is very attentive.
Instead of ordering your favorites, ask the Captain for recommendations. Suggestions may be strange, but they tend to be better and unique.
food, environment n service was nice, just one waitress not polite
Try to take fresh food. Roast duck suspected stale! Service is average for the price.
Food served are comparatively small portions and the food quality are general on average level
Great menu to choose from. Wide variety of dishes offered. They have an English menu and a pictorial version for the visually inclined!
It was second time I went there. First time had lunch there last year, the food was good at that time, maybe was impressed by the big hall. So decided to treat my Singaporean friend for dinner there few days ago. All the dishes we ordered, only the 'Dong Po meat' with the bun still tasty and the rest of the dishes just so so, especially the live fish for steaming look more like dead fish from freezer, and it's not fresh. But bill was charged for live fish price. The 'Buddha Jumping Wall soup' was not nice too. Food are expensive and not worth the value. Will not go back again!
The taste of the dishes are good but the service attitude to be improved
The atmosphere is quite good for a partner or family meal
A good place for event like wedding dinner. Overall the hall is alright, just that the cleanliness of toilets can be further improved.
