THE peranakan restaurant in Malacca! Nothing surpasses them of all the nyonya good places I have been in both Singapore and Malaysia. We order 6 dishes for 4 of us.
    1) Lemak nenas fish - Excellent, interesting and fresh. The hint of pineapple in the dish adds another dimension to the taste
2 Beef rendang - tender, yet firm in texture. Full of spices that tantalizes your taste buds
    3) Anchovies petai - Tasty with the right amount of sweetness and spice. Could be better with more petai
    4) Sambal Kang Kong - ok. Nothing special but usual fare
    5) Buah keluak chicken - Unique flavour. Nice buah keluak with chicken curry.
    6) Okra with Sambal - nice but finds the sambal topping a tad too sweet.

Overall a nice dining experience, where the flavors comes together in harmony. Definitely a revisit during my next trip!

I wish I could give this a higher rating, because they mostly seem like a competent place, but two stars because two out of the three dishes we ordered had so much sugar in them that it obliterated any other flavour. (You can see undissolved sugar crystals on the serving spoon of the cucumber salad.)

The chicken with lime leaf curry was pleasant. The fish with pineapple sauce was a good piece of fish, but the sauce was more sugar with a faint hint of pineapple. The salad was a nice mix of ingredients, but again the sugar spoilt it.

The drinks were good, soursop (with some of the meat) and starfruit (luckily we asked for without sugar).

Also, forgot to ask the price of the "based on the market price" small fish dish, which ended up being a suspiciously round-numbered 50rm (good thing the fish itself was decent quality, at least). So perhaps best ask.

The taste of the food was just average.. We ordered half a fish.. They gave us half a small fish of which I see roughly 300g yet they includes the bones of the second half without any flesh..and charged us for 450g..this is simply not the way of doing business..we actually prefer the taste of the food at Nancy Kitchen

Really liked their soy sauce tofu and their fish. Personally didn't like the duck soup because the duck is quite dry but then again it's personal. Overall it was a good meal and the lady was kind enough to recommend us for a change in order to prevent us from having too much soy sauce dishes.

Food was salty and lacking flavour. BUT the chendol dessert came with a big cup of gula melaka for you to add according to own taste of sweetness. GULA MELAKA was so good you could eat it on it's own! Not sweet and so fragrant!

Great Nyonya food. Definitely one of the better ones around. Please make a reservation or expect to be turned away especially during holidays and weekends.

It was a pleasant visit to Aunty Lee for the first time! Im from Singapore and a friend had recommended me here to taste the local authentic nonya dishes. I love how local and warm the restaurant was. The food was served fast and with polite service staff. Overall I'm very happy, the food is definitely awesome, I will definitely recommend this to friends and be back again when I'm in Melaka! 😍😍😍

    -This place is HELL!
-The women has nerve problems bragging about her bullshits how the customer begged her to cook...etc She locked the door entrance and pretended her restaurant is fully booked, when we force pushing the door the entire place is empty. WTF?
    -Tourist Traps!
    -AWFUL unpleasant food!
    -Cheap low quality rice!
    -Kitchen is extremely dirty!

Spend your hard earn money somewhere else!
SHAME ON YOU Restoran Aunty Lee!

Was recommended this quaint little restaurant for authentic nyonya cuisine.

Found the gem! Ayam Buah Keluak. A very difficult and rare dish of chicken and black nuts ( this nuts have to be processed for 3 months before being edible) so many restaurants shun from making this dish.

Also had their sambal petai prawns - stink beans with chilli sambal and prawns...

Wow... this is indeed a rare find. I as a foodie recommend this place!

Out of the way but they do have home style cooking that we love. The chincalok was yum! Local kapitan booked the lunch so waiting time was kept to a minimum

Bit further out, but great food! Very friendly staff that waited for us even though we kept pushing our reservation back. They also sell curry powder and prawn paste.
