Nice place to visit, and if they do what they say they are helping to rehome elephants and thus ensuring their protection. However when I was there the few elephants I saw were chained and not roaming free which disappointed me. Also if you go visit ensure that you go at the right time as otherwise you spend the morning doing nothing. Overall would say do visit.
Such a great place to see an elephant There is no entrance fee but you are welcome to contribute how many you want to pay as a fund for them The building structure here is also looks like new and well preserve But the way to go here quite deep into the jungle Anyway it still with a nice tar road A few activities also will be held here for you to get in touch with the elephant
This is a good place to escaoe from busy city. The journey from Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Gandah took about one and half hour by car. Along the way, you can enjoy the green forest view. The place itself is just nice (not too huge). There is 2 section to watch elephant ; Adult elephant and small elephant
What a fabulous experience washing the elephants in the river. I was soaked to the skin and very happy. The guide was very knowledgeable and added to the whole experience 😃🐘
What an amazing experience to be here last week. There is no entrance fee for visitors but they did accept donation if anyone wanted to donate. You can walk around the park and feed the elephants. The short show from elephants would be around 2.00pm. You can see them take a bath and munching the fruits. This place would be a great location for kids/teenagers as it offers additional knowledge why such conservation of elephants is imperative.
Mind blowing experience. Not at all crowded. You get to feed and bathe elephants whilst learning about conservation.
Reached here at about 10.40am on a Sunday morning during the school holidays (28 May 2017). We were the only ones at the registration counter of the elephant conservation centre, apart from a Caucasian couple. No fees were levied but the centre welcome a donation which we did.
There were only four elephants at the enclosure. We bought a few bundles of sugar cane (RM3 per bundle) to feed the elephants. Other than this, there was nothing else to do as the other activities (video, elephant bathing etc) were in the afternoon. Got bored and left. On the way walking out, a large group of local tourists (from Melaka) came.
Loved it!!! A must do for nature lovers visiting malaysia. As theres no website I'd suggest ringing them a day before and asking what time the shows and exhibitions are on and planning your trip accordingly & check the forecast and try and pick a clear day to go as the roads getting to and from there can get a bit hairy in hard rain.
It is good for tourist to visit. However the place does not have enough information on elephants and not many elephants too.
It was a super good experience to visit the elephants.
I like here, but I saw people loves to teasing animals.
I don't understand what so fun of making stupid fun on animals
I understand why elephant had to stay inside the paddock but I don't understand people behaviour more worse than animals.
They put a signboard of not sitting on the fence and can't put baby on itBut some people were so blind and just put their kids on it. They're so high risk as elephant can't hit 'em with trunks!!!
In a conservation centre like this, sadly the conservation values still less. Elephant team do all their best to keep on eye on elephant but public people just easily underestimating it and keep being so "animals".
Very nice place to visit, entrance is free. As i being informed, u can ride the elephant calf along the river and having bath with them though it cost u a bit money but sure a joyful experience. Do support out local animals sanctuary.
