We went to this temple Feb 2024. It’s believed that this temple many years ago discovered by dream of a saint n now become very popular. Location in the middle of small mountain forest of Muar Malaysia. The temple priest say he did saw 19ft king cobra snakes n shows real video . He strongly trust goddess lives here in the snakes n mountain formation like 5 head snake n Maha Vishnu shape .

Located inside an oil palm estate. Easy assess as roads are well kept.
Main temple is located at uphill and devotees will have to climb up via stairs which is well maintained. Be carefull of the monkeys all the way up. Temple has strong vibe. Awesome feeling.
Was blessed to encounter 🐍 as we approach the main temple. Such a blessing.

I have been here many times since 15 year to 30 years old. In this 15 years, world getting change rapidly. The temple also had new Kopuram for lord Vinayagar. But the toilet is same as before. Same urine smell, poor drainage system. Please improve the basic facilities first.. please la.. other religions place are more better than hindus.

It is a temple dedicated to Nagama and located inside a palm oil estate on a hill. Over the years and thru contribution from devotees, they have actually built tracks and roads to the temple and they have build shrines for Vinayegar, Nagama, Sivan, Amman and Vishnu. It is definitely a place to visit for Hindus if you are in the Muar area and especially in Pagoh. It is very near to the Pagoh exit of the North-South Highway. When you exit the highway, turn left and drive straight for about 5-10 mins towards Muar Town. You will see a sign board on the left indicating entrance to Nagamalai temple. Just drive in and follow the signage. Remember the temple area will be locked down and barrier gate down at 3pm.

Just as you arrive at the enterance hordes of monkeys wondering will wonder around. Try not to carry any plastic bags as it will attract the monkeys. Place is decent as located in an estate so do not expect it to be very clean and tidy. Overall, a wonderful place to pray and release you burden and stress.

Very mystical place... Please head there before 5pm because the gate closes at 5.30pm... Do visit and be prepared to walk up the stairs. Just be aware of the monkeys even though they don't do anything to the people walking there. There is 2 set of stairs. The left side is to go up and the right side will be to come down.
