Founded and registered in 1951, was then known as The Indian University Graduates Associations of Malaya by a group of Indian University Graduates to build a platform for the graduates to serve the Indian community in Malaysia in various ways possible. After independence, it was renamed to Malaysian Association of Indian University Graduates. MAIUG has spread its wing to accept all Indian Graduates from all Universities. As one of the oldest society in Malaysia, MAIUG has transited through various phases to its current its current activity focusing on a caring society. MAIUG has transformed periodically with district profile and each has its own phase of development. The society is now position to be a caring civil society.
