Malaysia Aquatic Therapy & Rehab Institute (MATRI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the professional development of healthcare professionals involved with aquatic therapy and rehabilitation.

MATRI aims:
- To develop a set of practices for aquatic therapy and rehabilitation that focuses on individuals with neuromuscular or musculoskeletal disorders
- To certify & recertify Aquatic Therapist in order to maintain the standard of water based rehabilitation
- To maintain the active list of certified Aquatic Therapist
- To continuous improve the knowledge and skills of aquatic therapy and rehabilitation
