The legendary Golden pillow bun (curry chicken in a large bun).
Taste as awesome as the legend goes.
Giant chicken curry bun really is the best food here. Perfect for shares.
Several flavor available but limited addition.
Highly quality ingredients.
Wow!! Superb dishes, great place to stop for refreshments. And yes, the legendary buns are a must!!
Curry and bread was pretty good. The rest of the ala carte dishes average.
Nice food and service, but so so big, that if it's not crowded it seems you are alone in there. Very strange AC / fans system...
Crowded especially during holiday period. They have no organised system like first come first serve, u have to look for any table that going to finish soon and stand beside that table to reserve for yourself. Tried both "yin yong" bun (curry pork rib + dong po yuk) and curry chicken bun. The taste for the curry and dong po yuk was good , but not the bun itself. It just a ordinary bun, not sponge, no butter smell, nothing surprise.
Good food. Nyummy! Best to eat with 3-4 ppl as its too much for 2 ppl.
My home is close to the restaurant. The taste of signature curry bread 🍞 has change a bit, I recall the favour is much better in previous years. But the overall taste is still good. Now there is different choice of filing other than the chicken curry. But the best one is still the Chicken curry and I will strongly recommend it to others. 😄
Nice curry bun to enjoy with family. The curry chicken was really taste and nice to eat with rice, price are reasonable and service was fast and waiter is ever ready. Good place to enjoy lukut's best food!
We came for the famous curry chicken bun but if you come on the wrong timing, you'll go back with empty hand. They said can call to reserve. Besides the bun, they serve seafood as well.
Overall, the place is really just average and priced slightly on the higher end. Don't bother queuing if it comes to that.
When we arrived, the place was crowded and you are expected to look for your own seats.
We ordered the 2 in 1 Bun of Dong Po Pork and Curry Pork ribs ($42 ringgit), their signature seafood noodle pot and a vegetable. The curry bread was really normal. Nothing to rave about besides it being fascinating to have the bun within the curry. Bread was not particularly soft and fluffy and the curry/dongpo pork was the same too. I've had much better curry elsewhere. The pork was tough and we felt like the ingredients were not sufficient for the size of the bun.
The signature seafood noodle was on the high end at $84 ringgit for their smallest portion. Definitely overpriced based on the ingredients of a small crab, some prawns and lala. The broth was creamy curry based, did not particularly standout either though dipping the leftover bun in it was nice. Felt like this was a dish to earn them the most money.
Better call and check first before visit, so many people
Absolutely delicious.
Visited this restaurant multiple times, satisfy with it every time.
Reasonable price as well.
Be prepared to wait on weekends as full house is common.
A unique Chicken Curry (wrapped inside) Bun is a must for everyone to try. Curry is not too spicy and the sauce is creamy.
