Dr Syed , the Paed is good in handling children. and nurses is very accommodative. The only drawbacks is that the parking is unreasonably expensive, food and hospitality could be improve.

I’ve thankfully bid good riddance to this ‘medical center’ since 7 years ago and have been in the better hands of the true specialists at the University Malaya Medical Center.

But, if you want to be ripped off of your medical insurance policy by these so called ‘specialists’, head here instead!

The nurse and the doctors are cheting. They knew that my case cannot claim the insuranse but still they cheat and convince me to stay warded for a week. luckily I only stay for 3 days. I need to pay RM4kplus while at first they told me everything will be covered by my insuran.

I had a personal & a very horrifying experience with Kelana Jaya Medical Center (KJMC). We picked KJMC / Dr. Dharmini to delivery our 1st child because it was near to our house in Ara Damansara & went for monthly / regular check-ups. All went well until the day of delivery when they had treated the process very unprofessionally and in a very irresponsible manner.

Upon admission they handed over my wife to midwives for experiments and didn't call doctor. My wife was in labor pain for hours and doctor came only in mid night & give a vaginal tear for birth which causes excessive bleeding. Doctor has left after stitching the tear and my wife was kept on bleeding for hours and even on my request midwives and nurses didn't call doctor. During this time one of the midwife has started D&C (Dilatation & Curettage) without taking our consent. When doctor came in the morning my wife HB level dropped to 6.2 & she turned pale. It was almost a life & death situation!

When doctor came and saw the situation, she suggested a surgery to investigate and re-stitch the wounds & ask me to deposit more money. I was panicked and paid the amount as they requested.

Just to give a little background, prior to deliver Dr. Dharmani has advised us to do some medical test and there was an infection for which we had a brief discussion that she will put my wife on IV to make sure that deliver is safe however she forgot and it was a complete case of negligence. That infection was the cause of excessive bleeding. Anyway we spent 3 nights and paid the bill of 12K++ that was not all, bleeding stop for a while however when we visit Dr. Dharmini again after a week for post delivery check up, same day my wife start bleeding again in the evening and it was an emergency situation. I called Kelana Jaya Medical Center to inform Dr. Dharmini immediately that I am bringing my wife. However the doctor on duty insist that he can't call Dr. Dharmini because he is the MO and he shall examine my wife 1st and then only he will call Dr. Dharmini. My relatives / friends suggested me to bring her to Ramsay Sime Darby Healthcare – Subang Jaya & luckily we landed there and Dato' Dr. Ang Chin Guan did another surgery and spend 2/3 nights & finally she recovered.

Out of courtesy Dr. Dharmini came to see my wife at Ramsay Sime Darby Healthcare & said she is not sure why it is happening. Having said that if I wouldn't have brought my wife to Ramsay, I doubt KJMC could save my wife's life. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go to KJMC because of my bad experience & its not cheap. Initially they give us estimated amount RM3,500 for normal deliver however we spend 12K++ in KJMC and spend another 12K++ in Ramsay Sime Darby Healthcare.

The objective is to create awareness so that others shouldn't face the same situation. Stay healthy & stay blessed!
