kudos to the jpj officers! despite of large crowd during lunch time, they were friendly and worked so efficiently, from getting a queue number, to be called to amend my driving licence details, renew and collect it just takes 50minutes.

Got things done very fast. No line. Had a scare earlier when I saw a really long line at 8am, but it was for the immigration dept. JPJ on the other side has no line

Went and did the change of ownership on saturday morning. Efficient and fast. Done within 10min and 10min waiting. Just need to fill up form and prepare the original car grant & puspakom cert and remember to buy the insurance upfront. Ic needed for thumbprint.

I've been here more than once now and each time the staff have been incredibly helpful and tolerant. Recognising I am a foreigner they give clear instructions. I arrived at 10am and left at 1015am...how quick is that?

Very efficient and it’s a one stop service with insurance and road tax avail. The officers are friendly too. The key is .. it operates on Saturday also.

Despite the afternoon crowd, the officers managed to rush through the processes very quickly. I got into a queue where 60 people were ahead of me. I missed my number when it was called cause I was in the washroom. But I was allowed to do my transaction right away after spoken to the officer at the number counter who was kind enough to explain the situation to the counter. My address was successfully changed and driving licence renewed in less than 10 minutes! Well done JPJ UTC team.

Service was fast, opened on Sundays. Very convenient. Only issues is no clear sign board where there place is located.

Attended this morning for replacement Sijil Pemilikan Kenderaan. Arrived at 09:30 and was done and dusted by 10 am. It helped that it was early so there were few people there.

Some points to note:

Always bring a photocopy of your passport as well as the original. They always require it. They sent me out to a shop somewhere to get a photocopy but didn't give directions. I found the Immigration Dept around the corner on same floor as JPJ which provided a photocopying service (20 sen).

Also for Driving License issues always bring photo of both front and rear of license. Otherwise they will send you to get a photocopy.

Why not have a copier in JPJ?

Came on a Monday about 9am after the Chinese New Year weekend, very pleasant and fast service, waited 2mins for my number,5mns @ the counter and 10mins for the drivers license card. Remember to bring along passport photo (white background) as the office does not provide photo taking.

Parking security guards are dishonest. Be aware of them. Poslaju don't do car insurance after 7pm. All office are on break from 7pm to 8pm. Plan your visits accordingly.

Never call them as they will not pick up the phone. Nevertheless the service they provide is fast. However the airconditioner is not working well so you might get suffocate in the room.

In and out within 45 minutes. Went on a weekday at 4pm. 10 person before my number was called. Office environment and facilities(broken chairs, very little air-conditioning and a bucket on the counter to collect water dripping down from the air-conditioning unit) can be improved. It was not a conducive environment and I was only there for 45minutes. I can only imagine the feeling of the officers working here.

This armpit of the city has not advanced in 20 years. It's still the kampong it was. The staff here are clearly badly hired and not trained well, not surprising given it's not really jpj just a contractor they have no motivation to provide any service at all. Every single one of the attendants behind the counter is completely lackadaisical and have a tidak-apa attitude. You ask the guy where to get photo he sends you to the ground floor when there are several shops next door taking photos. There is completely zero teamwork. Ask him to pass something to his colleague and he tells you to wait for him to come back. The place stinks in a way the earthy armpit only can. One plus was that I came on a Saturday and it so happened there were not many people. In an out in 30minutes. Would've taken me a whole day in PJ old Town. But you might not he so lucky as the photo shop told me it's usually packed. Tip: park in ancasa hotel and walk over. Pricey but way more convenient and less stinky.
