Basically an interchange station for the route between Singapore and KL. Annoying that you actually have to change trains here.
Very crowded during peak hours. Seats are really limited.
But good thing is that this train station is OKU friendly (disabled people friendly) with its yellow rough track, lift and a walkway.
This train station is very big as it is the place where you change your coach to go south to Johor. Ample of parking spaces too. There are a few food outlets nearby, very convenient.
Entrance and exit are not obvious. There's only one flight of stairs and one lift that takes you to/from the platforms. The design is not well thought of. There is a cafe in the station, but you're also walking distance to some restaurants in the town. Toilets are spacious and kept decent, but bring your own tissue. There is also one shower room in the female toilet. As this is the transit for passenger changing train for North or South bound, it can be quite crowded and seats in the waiting area are limited. The old station definitely have more characteristics than this one.
Old and traditional station. The train for going to KL Central so much better than the train from JB Central to Gemas
Staff not alert with passenger at entrance gate.
Waiting next train transit from here, if you go out you can dine in their cafeteria.. complete with many restaurant nearby and convenient store
