Fiamma Holdings Berhad ("Fiamma") began its trading operations in a shophouse in Johor Bahru in 1979, under Fiamma Sdn Bhd, the maiden company of the Fiamma Group. With an initial staff of five, Fiamma began the distribution of the cooking range of electrical home appliances under the ELBA and FABER brand names. Despite its humble beginnings and small workforce, the company was big on ideas and growth plans. Fiamma expanded its activities to Kuala Lumpur (where its head office is based today) and Penang.Fiamma eventually expanded its distribution network throughout Malaysia. The first project in Kuala Lumpur, Menara Centara office suites in Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, was completed in March 2015. The development in Taman Kota Jaya township in Kota Tinggi, Johor is ongoing. The development of Vida Heights, comprising 247 units of serviced apartment in Johor Bahru is scheduled for completion in the second half of 2016.
