One of the better hotel in Cameron Highlands at a reasonable price. About RM 200 per night from Agoda. If u book direct, price will be higher. Do your homework. Breakfast is very limited in choices. Ample carparks.
Had an unexpectedly pleasant stay here. Was initially expecting old rooms with moldy furniture and toilets given how long the resort has been operational (around 20 years?) but everything was surprisingly clean and well maintained with big comfortable rooms. Separate cubicles for the toilet, shower and bath tub. Big king sized bed with a balcony overlooking the field lined with pine trees. Peaceful and beautiful retreat, fully recommend coming back to this place!
Ps: I took a walk around the compound and managed to see the room on the other side. My stay was over at the main hotel building, A404 but the C103 room which I saw looks much more tired and old. So i am guessing the rooms in the main hotel block may have had a more recent makeover? In any case, choose the main Hotel block as there is a better view.
I love this hotel so much. Family friendly. Walking distance to restaurants, playground, room is clean and spacious. Furthermore, the rooms have been renovated. Looks very new. We go to Cameron Highland once or twice a year and sure book century pine resort. The breakfast has many foods are served. Worth for money.
I have felt very unimpressed by the total lack of friendliness, warmth and responsibility in which this so-called 4 star resort should have shown towards their guests. The first day of our vacation had ended with a stressing 2 or so hours trying to find a new hotel, after finding out that our online booking for the rooms were given to other guests. The dishonest and disloyal behavior from the front desk employers was very unacceptable when they claimed that they do not have an official website that had acknowledged our online booking. Unless you want to be served by dishonest and careless employees, who give no thought to provide a necessary and well-satisfied service to their guests, this 4-star hotel might as well be worse than a 1-star motel. Therefore, to maintain a better provided service and satisfied relationship between guests and employees, I suggest a more mindful and welcoming attitude from these front desk employees, if not a new batch of hardworking and reliable team of workers.
Stay away from this hotel!!! My online confirmed booking was not even in their system when we arrived. They made 11 people (kids and the elderly) in my party waiting for a couple of hours while they quietly tried to work it out. They gave our rooms to others and counter offer with different, smaller rooms. Strangely, the front desk staff and the manager didn't really want to talk to me but get someone (who they claimed as their agent) to deal with me on my mobile at their hotel! They said that they don't have a website but I actually called the number on their website and booked the rooms through the same website. So weird. No accountability, not professional at all. So, go to other hotels if you plan on staying at Cameron Highlands. There are plenty of better options than Century Pines.
Good. Room is spacious. Very convenient. Got qiblah direction in the room. Prayer mat also prepared upon request.
I think is my 3rd stays at this hotel. Nice location n the room is spacious n clean, very important. Not recommend on breakfast, lousy as always. But the staff is friendly. One thing is near by there is a mosque, expect early prayer during your stays. Worth to stay.
Do not book a room in this place unless you enjoy being woken up at 5:50am by the morning sermon BLASTED BY THE LOUDSPEAKERS OF THE MOSQUE NEXTDOOR. Every. Single. Morning.
Even if this is your thing (which is perfectly fine) there is no WiFi in the rooms and beds are on the uncomfortable side. You also have to turn on warm water half an hour before you plan to use it.
Staff are friendly. Very nice and comfortable environment. Room is definitely awesome. Breakfast buffet not much choices but overall still acceptable. Quite near to local attractions. Will visit again
I have heard a lot of bad reviews and just want to refute them. I have been staying in several hotels in the Cameron highlands and this one was the best. No old smell at all. Luxury rooms. 220 RM per night. Gym on the site. Breakfast is vast and included. The bed is huge. A/C in the room. Tv in the room. If you stay in the hotel, there is a discount to eat in 2 surrounding cafes. Views is good, close to the city. 2 min walk to Starbucks and all places to eat.
The place is old, but price is very very affordable. Good for stay over a night or two.
Breakfast is a norm, not so much refills after 9am. The gym is very small.
Good thing is nearby has a park for morning exercises, and very near to the Tanah Rata shops. Walking distance.
Lots of parking & conveniently located. Quiet, cozy hotel. Just too dated design.
Hotel room is big n price is reasonable, good location, nice place to stay for a short while, hotel look old, i think the management should consider repaint hotel to upgrade the image.
Good location, good room. But extremely bad breakfast. Lots of improvement needed
The room is awesome.. my son love it so much.. just walking distance to the town and easy to get food..
